The Society's LibraryA library of Society material is held at Northallerton Reference Library in the Eileen Gaskell Cabinet. Dedicated to the memory of a founder member whose personal collection it contains - it also holds leaflets, documents, books and extensive study material compiled by members. These items are being catalogued by the Society and are not included in the NYCC library catalogue. Donations of material are welcomed. An important research tool is a transcription of the Northallerton Census
(held each ten years since1841) and local burial records. |
